First, the nazis who are heavily influenced by anti-Christian socialist influence attempt to open the ark (with no reverence for God). What they find is "sand," and begin laughing (like the Atheists and non-believers they are). What follows is paranormal activity and then ghosts and other "angelic beings" that swamp the scene, and deceiving the onlookers, eventually to show its "dark powers" and consumes them. Of course Harrison Ford warns, "Don't look at it," and keep her eyes closed. And that's how I feel about "Satan" and "Evil Spirits" and other things that are false gods. You can find in the book of Acts, well, I'll let the verse speak for iself:
King James Bible, Acts 23:8Competing concepts, such as evil spirits, devils, dragons, et cetera crept into Biblical theology toward the time of the destruction of Israel, because they worshipped such things (idolatry). However, this clip from "Raiders of the Lost Ark," shows paranormal activity, as well as ghosts and other phenomena coming from the most Holy Ark. How could evil, come from Holiness? Easy:
"For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both."
Isaiah 45:7 "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."The prophets commanded the early Hebrews to abstain from Necromancy, and other paranormal phenomena such as found in witchcraft, but the Hebrews refused. They continued to break the commandment of God which instructs, "Thou shall have no other gods before me."

Basing a belief that goes against what is written in the New Testament on two sentences seems a little hasty. Get a bible with a good concordance and you might see how taking verses out of context and using equivocation is miss leading and most likely faulty logic.
ReplyDeleteOh Mr. Nathan, don't you mean putting it into its true context for the first time for 2000+ years? With all those divided sects and denominations squabbling between themselves, including some that still keep the true sabbath and the apostates who keep Sunday. Those who call a blood transfusion, "eating blood" because they take scriptures out of context and those of you who erect tree worship idolatry in your houses every christmas.
ReplyDeleteBut since you enjoy the dragon myth, so be it. You too will interpret scripture however you wish to.
The dragon myth was much loved by the Babylonians, Persians, Greeks and Jews as well as Christians. It matters not that the Hebrew God condemned the worship of snake gods.
"Isaiah 45:7 "I ... create evil: I the LORD do all these things."
Take the glory from Yahweh why don't you!
Putting it in its correct context sir! christians want to deny what is written in clear Hebrew and English.
Isaiah 45:7 "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."
Stop taking the word EVIL out of context and glorifying Satan as its source, and "the god of the world," for little children to fear as they shiver under the quilt at night in fear of your silly demons and dragon myths. Some nasty demon sneaking up in the shadows or some charlatan who claims to have some special power and audience with God. I beg to differ sir! I think the truth is those little kids shivering out of fear of demons snatching their souls at night (SO-CALLED-CHRISTIAN CHILD ABUSERS! teaching that filth to children), those children have a greater access to God than some silly "exorcist" and his fraudulent magic tricks.
