Sad. Liberals I know of want to say its all a huge free for all out there... but what society ends up with, when people flounce around with casual, careless sexual mistakes... mistakes in general; misery, and screwed mental troubles. Sad... I've been reading on the deaths of some of these guys; Layne Staley, etc.

Whatever the case may be, Eddie Vedder began using his Mom's maiden name for his own last name, just as I assigned my kids with my maiden name and refused to use their fathers' names (when I could have). Why? Because of the crap treatment those men dished out. They weren't loyal, faithful, honest companions. Obviously... Eddie Vedder's Mom split up with his biological father.

Why do liberals want to promote screwed up lives, that hurt young people... then when kids like Jeremy (the true story of "Jeremy" appears to be located at this page), are putting a gun to their head and pulling the trigger in front of all their classmates, notice.. the liberals are quiet. But oddly enough... Eddie Vedder was the vocalist for that very song.

Seems even *some* Atheists realize there's screwed up errors, aka "sins" that screw up people's lives... and the innocent affected by those mistake carry the cross, crucified for it (so to speak). The world needs a lot more love, aka accountability, and doing to others what you want done to yourself, that includes counting the consequences your own mistakes will have on your loved ones (if you have the capacity to love anyone at all). It is my belief that God allows (sometimes even tempts mankind) -- into situations like the one in this video, the test and trial to become stronger, better, overcome the world. Putting a gun to your head is the easy way out.

Edward Louis Severson III entered the world in the Chicago suburb of Evanston, where he was greeted right away with a convoluted family life.
Raised to believe that his mother's second husband was his biological father, his actual father (known to him only as a family friend) died of multiple sclerosis before the fact of his parentage was revealed. The three individuals meshed well on a personal level, and within days Vedder had made a permanent move to Seattle to begin work on the new band in earnest. Initially, they performed as Mookie Blaylock, the name of a favorite basketball player; before any records had been released, however, this was altered to Pearl Jam, in honor of an aunt's peyote-laced preserves. Blaylock was still given a nod in the title chosen for their debut album: Ten (1991) being the ball player's jersey number. Several months before work on this album started, a short-lived project was undertaken with members of Soundgarden under the name Temple of the Dog, resulting in a single eponymous record at the end of 1990.
Following the release of Ten, Pearl Jam immediately achieved enormous popularity, being one of several bands (Soundgarden, Nirvana, and Alice in Chains amongst them) to benefit from the hype surrounding the initial attle "grunge" explosion. In particular, the song Jeremy -- whose subject matter centered around a boy who commits suicide in front of his classmates -- gained Vedder and the band both notoriety and a devout fan base amongst alienated teens. The next two albums, Vs. (1993) and Vitalogy (1994) were met with equal success, but by this time a backlash against the "grunge hype" was becoming evident. Around the release of Vitalogy, the band's press coverage was distracted away from its music to concentrate instead on a conflict with (and subsequent law suit against) the ubiquitous ticket vendor/extortion racket Ticketmaster; sadly, the resolution to this conflict failed to bring about much improvement in the situation. With the next release, No Code, a deliberate move away from a commercial sound was made, resulting in a corresponding drop in sales. 1998's Yield made a return to a more accessible style more in keeping with the band's earlier records...."

I'm taking the liberty to post a little bit of information that's been compiled regarding the "spiritual beliefs" of Jim Jones, leader of the mass suicidal, People's Temple cult from Jonestown (1978).

New audio of Jim Jones and the Peoples Temple singing the National Anthem of the Soviet Union, to which they often refer as their "spiritual motherland." Temple members often sang the anthem after nightly meetings.
There's an entirely incorrect misconception from people who don't read about Jonestown that the Temple members were messainic religious nuts. They were most definitely not. They were communists looking for an exodus to the USSR before their final mass suicide. They were also vehement atheists (Jones ridiculed people that believed in "the sky God"). The PT repeatedly explained that they used religion ("religion is an opiate of the masses") to convert people to socialism.
They were mostly politically minded. They also weren't looking to die. Many thought Jones prior discussions of war and suicide were just part of a long line of dramatic proclamations he'd always made but never came remotely close to consummating through action. Until November 18. Note that Jim Jones had met and was friends with Paul Robeson, who happens to sing the most famous English version of the anthem.

He sure was active in seemingly good causes.
Wikipedia states: "Condemnation of Robeson and his beliefs came swiftly, from both....mainstream black organizations including the NAACP."

The Peoples Temple and Jim Jones devolve in 1976 from a San Francisco political juggernaut secretly harboring designs of world communist revolution to, in 1978, a paranoid North Korean-style enclave in Jonestown. There, they negotiate with the Soviet Union, North Korea and others for a possible exodus. A Soviet delegation visits Jonestown, showering it with praise. Captured on audio, three weeks before Congressman Ryan, NBC and others visit, they vote to commit Revolutionary Suicide to further the cause of Marxist-Leninism. The day before Congressman Ryan arrives, Jones announced to Jonestown (and recorded on tape) he's not passing up the opportunity to shoot him. Two days later, they do precisely as Jones had claimed: The Temple's "Red Brigade" killed Ryan and four others. The only murder of a Congressman in the line of duty in U.S. history. Popular NBC reporter Don Harris is also murdered. Then, just as the Temple had voted three weeks before, over 900 members commit Revolutionary Suicide -- the largest death toll of American civilians in a non-natural disaster until 9-11. They die in a "White Night" -- an emergency meeting of the Temple to discuss options to prevent takeover by outside forces. Jonestown had 84 White Nights before the final one.

Jim Jones and Jonestown - Devolution from Political Force to Revolutionary Suicide

Some are already aware of the philosophical ties between Jim Jones and the Atheistic Soviet Union. I'll let the following documentation explain itself, but the question remains in mind, why, for so many years did the liberal media lead the masses to believe Jim Jones was a fanatical "Christian," just as many have accused that Adolf Hitler was a "Christian"? Why do these misconceptions continue to pervade across the web and media. Perhaps until Christians, no longer recognize a Christian. Adolf Hitler and Jim Jones have one thing in common and that is: SOCIALISM. At best, Hitler was a deist, giving benefit of the doubt to the existence of a higher power, but he certainly did not have the makings of a "Christian" in spirit (i.e., the fruits of the spirit mentioned in Galatians). I'm lead to the same conclusion in regard to George W. Bush, who proclaims himself to be "Conservative Christian" in the public eye, but both Sr. and Jr., have been willing participants in the Bohemian Grove's satanic mock sacrifices of humans, at the infamous Bohemian Grove. One evangelical preacher (above) discusses the problem with Jim Jones, there were no bibles ... no place to pray... what else than Communism? Far cry from the misconception that Jim Jones was a "fanatic religious leader," never once did the liberal (leftwing/marxist influenced) media try to correct that misconception that Jim Jones was in fact the opposite, a Communist fanatic... and they will go on saying Jim Jones was a "Christian" along with Charles Manson, Adolf Hitler and George Bush... diluting the truth, until nobody even recognizes what Christianity even means anymore.
